A sand pocket found in the original L1 crown driver brass. It
is the blemished area to the upper-left of the L1 marking. This defect was discovered during the
machining process. The defect required a new brass bearing piece to be cast.

and will be aligned, the hole located and then machined at a local
shop in the Altoona area. |
