Altoona - November 1999

Some photos of the new drawbar, the L1 bearing,
the completed valve frame, and the new pilot.

A sand pocket found in the original L1 crown driver brass. It is the blemished area to the upper-left of the L1 marking. This defect was discovered during the machining process. The defect required a new brass bearing piece to be cast.
